A full day elephant riding and trekking tour in the 'Elephant Village' just 15 km outside of Luang Prabang. This great one day tour includes village visits and soft hiking into amazing countryside, a Khmu minority village and the magnificent Tad Sae waterfalls. A perfect package for responsible travelers as this tour also supports the Fair Trek project which raises funding for seven villages in the area.

On this 2 day "Fair Trek" you will get an introduction to Lao Loum, Lao Theung, and Lao Sung people and culture. Share life and get to know the real Lao countryside outside of Luang Prabang. As you walk through this area you help the communities through your contributions and the jobs tourism provides for them.

This half day elephant experience will take you out into the beautiful Lao countryside and introduce you to the protected Asian elephants at the "Elephant Village", a private initiative to save elephants from brutal logging work in Laos.

The money from your tour fee will be aiding to host the protected elephants in the "Elephant Village", as well as supporting the development work in the rural area of the Ban Xieng Lom village

An extension to the half day class, learn to draw you own Hmong Batik with more precision and detail.  This is an exclusive opportunity to work with a Lao artisan. English speaking guides are the link between you and your Lao teacher. Classes run for half days, full days or over several days.  Our free tuk tuk to the classes depart from the Ock Pop Tok shops located on the main street and next to L'Elephant restaurant in town.
