- 25 Sep 2010, Mrs Sue B.Our stay at Satri House was fabulous. By far, the most memorable accommodation of our three week honeymoon in Laos and Thailand. Could not speak more highly of this hotel, not only the welcoming and attentive service, but the stylish decor and tranquil setting, as well as the delicious breakfasts (Mrs Mam is just gorgeous and her pineapple and strawberry jam are to delicious). The Hotel undergoing renovations during our stay including addition of a swimming pool. Can't wait to return and see the changes. A credit to the manager. Highly recommended.

We were very impressed and extremly happy with the Chang Inn Hotel eventhough the rooms were a bit too small. The staff were very helpful. The rooms were a bit too dark but very nice . I had to ask for a new light bulb to make the room brighter. It would be nice if the hotel has tv in each room but this didn't bother us that much, just a reccomendation. the location was very convenient. The food served there was Thai food and was extremely good. I woudl say the food was much better than other restaurants in Bangkok. We will definitely go back to the Chang Inn.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and tidy. Comfy beds and good air-conditioning.
- 25 Jun 2011, Ms Joanna M.We used to live in Laos and revisit it frequently. This is a wonderful guesthouse, clean and modern with Lao style run by a friendly family who live next door. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom sports a piping hot powerful shower. Wifi is free. We stayed 7 nights and extended our stay for another week. The highlight for us was breakfast - we started off with eggs and ham, baguette, fruit and fruit juice which was delicious, but we said we preferred Asian style, so ever since we have been treated to a variety of noodle soups, joke (rice soup) and stuffed rice noodles topped with fried garlic and spicy-sweet dipping sauce - all superbly prepared. Plus heaping plates tropical fruit and fruit juice to follow. Highly recommended and good value for the price.

Great location and very helpful friendly staff. Only problem was insufficient hot water for either a shower or to use the lovely baths in the room.

Had a great time here overall and would recommend the place to anyone. Two possible area of improvement would be: 1) To have a safe deposit box in room 2) Ladies may need a wardrobe rather than a clothes peg on the wall.
- 12 Nov 2010, Mr Dev Kumar S.I have no hesitation in recommending Riverside Guest House in Luang Prabang. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive without being intrusive, the lush setting opposite Nam Khan River is stunning and peaceful and it is within easy walking distance to the main street and town attractions. I would love to go back here and stay for an extended period; cannot recommend it enough.
