Our stay at Satri House was fabulous. By far, the most memorable accommodation of our three week honeymoon in Laos and Thailand. Could not speak more highly of this hotel, not only the welcoming and attentive service, but the stylish decor and tranquil setting, as well as the delicious breakfasts (Mrs Mam is just gorgeous and her pineapple and strawberry jam are to delicious). The Hotel undergoing renovations during our stay including addition of a swimming pool. Can't wait to return and see the changes. A credit to the manager. Highly recommended.

We used to live in Laos and revisit it frequently. This is a wonderful guesthouse, clean and modern with Lao style run by a friendly family who live next door. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom sports a piping hot powerful shower. Wifi is free. We stayed 7 nights and extended our stay for another week. The highlight for us was breakfast - we started off with eggs and ham, baguette, fruit and fruit juice which was delicious, but we said we preferred Asian style, so ever since we have been treated to a variety of noodle soups, joke (rice soup) and stuffed rice noodles topped with fried garlic and spicy-sweet dipping sauce - all superbly prepared. Plus heaping plates tropical fruit and fruit juice to follow. Highly recommended and good value for the price.

Great location and very helpful friendly staff. Only problem was insufficient hot water for either a shower or to use the lovely baths in the room.

Clean room, got Dog room so have to climb up 4th floor to my room, no problem for me since stay alone because bathroom is open concept. The bakery is nice selling at the entrance of hotel morning till night. Night market just in front of hotel, very convenience. Wifi super slow.

The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful; the room was delightful. I extended my stay at the hotel because I was so impressed. The hotel is in a busy part of town, so there is considerable noise during working hours, but it is quiet at night.

I loved everything about this hotel. I had a lovely room with balcony over the courtyard. The staff were exceptionally friendly. Just one thing to mention, I had booked a "lotus" room which was reached by a rather steep, narrow set of stairs that also when round a bend. I found them a little awkward though I am very fit. I would warn anyone who is not very sure on their feet against these rooms, nos.5-8. One poor lady actually fell down them when I was there. I noticed that stairs to the other first floor rooms were fine. Breakfast was excellent and served in the lovely courtyard.

When you first walk onto the property of the Bellevue Bungalows your decompression begins.Clean rooms, beautiful green landscaped courtyard, two puppies to greet you and a wonderful, accommodating staff and a wonderful experience overall.

It was really great apart from a big vent in the bathroom letting in all the mosquitoes & the tap on the sink was loose.

The room was lovely, tastefully decorated and clean. We got two free bottles of drinking water each day, and the included breakfast, served on the terrace overlooking the river, was generous. We were given a choice of rooms on arrival which was a nice touch. Would stay again and recommend to friends. Owner speaks English, German and French from what we heard.
