Stay Another Day Exhibition

"STAY ANOTHER DAY; the exhibition", is based on the same concept as the booklet and website which promotes sustainable tourism- to encourage travelers to venture beyond the well-trodden path and showcase unique and alternative things for travelers to do, see and learn so that benefits from tourism will make an immediate and positive difference in the lives of the local community.

As part of the exhibition, Kopnoi's gallery is turned into four rooms, each with its own theme. One room is dedicated to the Stay Another Day Laos, its impact and interactive quizzes on how to be a sustainable traveler.

The other three is be on "Culture", "Community" and "Environment", following the format of the Stay Another Day in Laos booklet. The projects featured in the booklets will be used to introduce the concepts in a three-dimensional and interactive manner.

Visitors will learn, through videos, slide shows and interactive games about the beautiful landlocked country - one of the few remaining places in the region that evoke a sense of what traditional South East Asian life must have been like - and its friendly inhabitants. In addition, they will receive a leaflet introducing all the Stay Another Day projects.

"Our goal is to promote Lao culture, make people fall in love with Laos and do more than what the normal guide book says. We firmly believe that if they come to the exhibition, they will stay another day."
