Mr Anolong, an architect, designed the transformation of his family's home in the late 1990s. The Villa Ban Lao are actively supporting the Stay Another Day Initiative - a programme designed to increase the average length of stay of travellers in Laos, as well as encouraging travellers to spend their money in a way that contributes to the local people of Luang Prabang.
