The Saynamkhan Guesthouse are actively supporting the Stay Another Day Initiative - a programme designed to increase the average length of stay of travellers in Laos, as well as encouraging travellers to spend their money in a way that contributes to the local people of Luang Prabang. "A day tour to the cave and villages was arranged well and we enjoyed it. No explicit mention was made of Stay another Day - we took our own initiative and followed up on the contents of the brochure (which was available at reception). "

"The guesthouse did nothing even remotely related to the "Stay another day" initiative.
Nope - not impressed. I regretted having prepaid and would not do that again. We didn't have the choice to relocate to other guesthouses and hotels that were far superior to this one and less expensive."
