"Our stay at Satri House was fabulous. By far, the most memorable accommodation of our three week honeymoon in Laos and Thailand. Could not speak more highly of this hotel, not only the welcoming and attentive service, but the stylish decor and tranquil setting, as well as the delicious breakfasts (Mrs Mam is just gorgeous and her pineapple and strawberry jam are to delicious). The Hotel undergoing renovations during our stay including addition of a swimming pool. Can't wait to return and see the changes. A credit to the manager. Highly recommended."

"This was a beautiful hotel. The attention to detail was incredible and the breakfast was amazing. It felt like you were staying in a French Chateaux. An incredible building. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others travelling to Luang Prabang!"

"This is a perfect place for going back in time-- nothing plastic, lots of antiques. If you're bothered by tall ceilings, old wood and old silks, and the slow pace of a bygone era, don't come here. It's for people who appreciate authentic originals, personalized service, not the glitz or glamour and anonymity of chain hotels."

"Over all this was an amazing experience.
What a gorgeous house and the decor was breath-taking.
We had the benefit of being the only guests at the time and felt like the house was "home".
Will be back next year."
