My Dream Boutique Resort
Sustainability
This accommodation provider has taken action to address one or more issues (whether environmental, social or cultural) which will contribute positively to the long term viability of the destination and hence their site displays a Caring for the destination rating.
Main area of focus in Caring for the Destination:
Supporting local communities and businesses.
Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
My Dream strives to be as low-impact on this garden property as possible. Landscaping is kept to a minimum and is designed to enhance, rather than engineer, naturally occurring trees and flowers. In addition, contributing to the local economy is a top priority here at My Dream. Fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, breads etc. are purchased daily at local markets. Lao artisans make our lamp shades, designer pillow covers, etc. And 2% of our revenue goes to our school projects - please ask our staff for more information.
