In the Old quarter of Luang Prabang the Hotel au Fil du Mekong is small friendly hotel, designed with a mixture of French colonial style and traditional Lao style design. Primly placed in the centre of Luang Prabang, on the sleepy banks of the Mekong River, it is a great place to relax and get away from it all. 

The rooms are spacious and simply designed with Lao accents and there is both a terrace on the ground floor and a shared balcony which encircles the hotel on the first floor. Being in the centre of Luang Prabang it is only a short walk from the hotel to restaurants and the major places of interest in Luang Prabang.
