Enviromental Awareness
Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
The Intha Hotel takes the following measures to try and minimize their impact on the local environment:
- Keeps all guest rooms as non smoking. By having no smoking rooms, this preserves the life of the rooms meaning curtains and bedding don't need to be replaced as often and walls don't have to be repainted as regularly. By reducing these cleaning materials and costs, hotels with a no smoking room policy reduce the amount of harsh cleaning chemicals and detergents, water, energy and paint that is used on an annual basis as well preserving the life of the room and its furnishings therefore reducing excess consumption of all elements
