Golden Lotus Guest House

Newly built the Golden Lotus or Dok Bua Thong Guesthouse in the Lao Language, is a new modern two story building. Built in the style of a local family home The Golden Lotus Guesthouse is friendly and inviting with a modern simple design. Owned and managed by a friendly Lao American called Tommy, who asks that when you stay at the Golden Lotus Guesthouse “Please make yourself feel at home”.

On the ground floor there are a few communal tables, at which you can sit and relax and there is a computer with an internet connection that is available for guests use. The rooms are located on the second floor up a wooden staircase and are all a standard size of 3.5m x 3.5m.

Literally in the centre of Luang Prabang the night market is at the top of street and the morning market takes place on the doorstep of the Golden Lotus Guesthouse. Mount Phousi and the Royal Palace Museum are only a few minutes’ walk away. With temples, tour agents, restaurants, cafes and bars all within easy walking distance you can go far wrong.

The Golden Lotus Guesthouse offers free wireless internet in all rooms and a computer with internet access in the lobby for those who travel sans laptop. The complimentary breakfast is offered on the ground floor at the communal seating areas and while the guesthouse itself has no restaurant there are enough nearby as too not be a problem. Tommy the owner and manager says that he can arrange just about anything and told us about taking previous guests to the doctors himself when needed.

For No Shows, 100% of the booking value will be charged.

For cancellations made within 1-4 days before check-in date, 70% of the booking value will be charged.

For cancellations made within 5-8 days before check-in date, 50% of the booking value will be charged.
