- Duration: 2 day(s)
- Location: Luang Prabang
Day One (6-7 hours trekking)
Day one will see you embarking on a 6-7 hour trekking experience. The first two hours you will make your way through rice paddies, midle canopy and steep slopes to a Khmu Village where the local village children will greet you.
After a short break we will ascend for another hour along ridges, limestone grottos and rocky slopes for lunch at a Hmong Village. Mountains and valleys offer many opportunities to experience a variety of flora and fauna. Enjoy some spare time to stop, look, listen and ask your guide about the life teeming around you.
We will continue our trek until we approach the Khamu village for an overnight stay in family guest house. We will spend the evening dining with villagers and participating in a cultural activity. Rest peacefully at comfortable guest house after Lao Whiskey....
Day Two (4-5 hours trekking)
Enjoy breakfast and set out for a two hour trek along the river bed.
Visit Khmu village. Enjoy boat ride on Nam Khan (centre of village life) to the Elephant Lodge for a visit and dip in river.
