Ban Pack Luck's open sided reception and terrace is an ideal place to lounge and watch Luang Prabang life go by. In a refreshing addition to the standard decorative palette, vivid coloured glassware, red leather effect pouffees and a fluffy tissue box cover combine in retro style and don't forget to admire the bed beside reception! This beautifully finished Lao style building is in a superb location, on a fascinating street of heritage architecture spanning the past century.

Restaurants, galleries and temples are all around in this area of tree-lined streets. The guesthouse bedrooms are furnished and decorated with quality and care and are immaculate and cool even in the heat of the day.

Ban Pack Luck has a lovely corner area of open sided seating in the heart of historic town - an ideal spot to sip a cool drink or coffee, read a glossy magazine and watch Luang Prabang life (and many saffron robed monks) wander by from dawn until dusk.

The stone tiled terrace opens out from tall shuttered wooden doors. The sharply styled lobby has wooden floors, large angular decorative blooms and leaves, huge terracotta feature vases and, to top off the effect, old style ceiling fans.

Guests can stroll down to the Mekong riverside or to the main street and choose from a wide variety of cafes serving breakfast. It may be tempting, when enjoying drinks on the guesthouse terrace, to walk a few paces across the road to lunch or dine at the well known l’Elephant Restaurant.
