Apsara owner Ivan Scholte brought interior designer Niki Fairchild from Bangkok to assist with the hotel’s design. The result is what most visitors will agree is one of the most chic places in Luang Prabang. As the Asian Wall Street Journal said about the Apsara, "It's almost too attractive". The restaurant features polished concrete floors and serves modern European and Asian food and the driest Martinis in town. With Chinese-style lanterns hanging in marvelous multicolored clusters and original art on the walls, the use of color, placement of plants and greenery, riverside and mountain views creates a spectacular ambiance and feeling of well-being. The friendly staff just make the Apsara experience even more wonderful.
