Opened in late 2005 on the main street, the Ancient Luang Prabang Hotel’s 3rd floor open air cafe as a virtual panoramic view of the city. Guests can enjoy the central location - just walk out of the lobby and start browsing the day and evening textiles markets, shop at fruit stalls and walk to restaurants and all the major sites.

Guests who like to get up early can have an excellent view of the morning takbat procession by the city’s many Buddhist monks. In the evening it is a relaxing place to catch the sunset view towards Phousi and overlook the colourful craft market.
A delicious selection of home baked cakes are on sale outside the lobby, a favourite stop for evening market goers. A convenience store is located next door.
